Happy Chinese New Year readers!! Hope you receive lots of hong bao and hope you guys enjoyed your reunion dinner too! :)
So yes this is my new layout, i had to spent almost 2 weeks to complete it due to my schedule of work & going out! :) I'm really happy and satisfied with the outcome and i doubt i will be changing it any sooner.
I played around with a lot of different bright and sweet colours just for this layout, i was so tempted to just use every single pretty colour i came across with heh.
For the layout, I was inspired by an anime, Maid Sama! If anyone watched it, i think you will know. I decided to draw the 2 dolls based on them and it was one of the most difficult drawing i had to do by computer mouse but i did it anyway!! :D
I revamped & also removed some sections & materials because i think it was taking up space and i didn't really liked it so yeah. No worries! I have a couple of new addition materials!!
Hope you liked them and i will be adding more in when i have the free time again! Till then, enjoy your Chinese New year!! :D
Helloo readers! My O's exams are over so finally i'm a freebirdddd! No more exams! :D
So now i can dedicate some of my time back to drawing and blogging!
Anyway as you can see i changed my layout! I did a very simple layout this time and added in some sparkles effect for December, Christmas.
I'm really happy with it as i like my layouts to usually be a minimalist layout. Simple and basic just the way i like it! :) I rearranged a lot of my codes so that they look neater now! Hope you guys like it too. :)
I also removed some of my affies and removed link exchanges as i do not wish to have too many links.
I added in some new materials like button templates & some new pixel dolls i did!
These pixel dolls were done a reallyyyyy long time ago and they were rotting in my folder so i decided to just upload them here! :)

Learn how to add in patterns to your text in just 4-5 steps! I'm doing this in Photoshop 7.0.
First open up a background/pattern of your choice. I'm using a pattern from Axel.
Click on Edit at the top left hand corner, select Define Pattern & Save.
Now open up a new canvas. *400 x 280 pixels*
And selecting the Text Tool, type in any desired words. I'm using the font Impact.
On the right, you should be able to see a Layer Window. Double-click or Right-Click on the word layer & select Blending Options.
After clicking, there should be a pop-up box. Select the Pattern Overlay and click on the little black arrow beside it, select the background/pattern inside &
set your settings like mine. Or you may adjust it to your liking.
This is optional but you can also select on drop shadow to give it alittle more effect. Play around with the options and you might just find out more new stuffs.
And you're done! This is my result :

- Well, depends. If you're one of my close friends, sure. I don't like to do layouts or banners because I only do them when inspirations/ideas strike me which takes a long time.
